We draft, review, and prepare all necessary documents in the procedure of obtaining all authorizations as required by the laws in force, in relation to the design, execution and completion of the works. Further, we assist the clients in front of public authorities in order to obtain/adapt/renew/extend the construction authorization (“autorizație de construcție” in Romanian).
We provide daily advice on the contract execution. We provide support in drafting, negotiating, and concluding necessary subcontracts and suppliers’ agreements.
We advise the companies in relation to the claims/counterclaims (damage claims, price escalation claims, differing site conditions claim, change of work claims etc.) On the technical part of claims, if needed, we cooperate with one of the leading global construction consultancy firms. On the same line, we also provide legal advice regarding the “price adjustment” provided by laws of Romania.
We cooperate with local independent lawyers, and we can deploy them regularly on the site of the works to undertake, under our supervision, some of the tasks regarding the daily matters.
