Chiuariu & Associates assisted a well-known creative director with a settlement deal a EUR 5 figure sum following her exit from one of the most important local high-end women’s clothing brands.
Chiuariu & Associates assisted the client throughout all phases of the transaction and was involved in the negotiation, drafting, conclusion, and execution of the settlement agreement, as well as in the previous litigious stages thereof.
The settlement agreement included several complex issues of corporate law, competition law, labour law and intellectual property law referring inter alia to the assignment of company shares and the situation of the intellectual property rights over the clothing creations of the former director.
The client is one of the most appreciated Romanian designers in the high-end clothing business, having achieved both a local and international reputation and is renowned for her innovation and creativity in handling the creation and implementation process.
