Dr. Tudor Chiuariu

Dr Tudor Chiuariu is the Senior Partner and the coordinator of Litigation & Arbitration Practice at Chiuariu & Associates – Attorneys at Law, the law firm he established 23 years ago. He covers a wide range of expertise areas in law, from practicing law as a pleading attorney-at-law and, in this capacity, managing complex international and national disputes, to coordinating major investment & environment projects.

He often pleads in front of International Courts and Tribunals: Court of Justice of European Union (CJEU), European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), ICC International Court of Arbitration (ICC Paris) and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS/TAS).

He is an experienced arbitrator, being appointed and performed as a Chairman or Co-Arbitrator in dozens of domestic and international arbitrations, including arbitration held under the rules of International Chamber of Commerce – ICC Paris. He graduated from the ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy for Central and Eastern Europe (2015), organized under the auspices of the ICC Institute of World Business Law and the ICC International Court of Arbitration.

Tudor holds a PhD magna cum laude in law and is an Associate Professor, he teaches courses, delivers research and authors leading works on administrative law, arbitration, public procurement, and EU law.
