Oana Cocan

Oana Cocan is a highly accomplished graduate with expertise in law, business, and sports management. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manchester (2023), a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Faculty of Business Babes-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca (2022), and a master’s degree in Sports Management and Legal Skills from ISDE (Institute of Law and Economics) in collaboration with FC Barcelona (2024).

Oana has gained legal experience through her internship at ESL Sports Law in London, as well as her role as a student legal advisor at the University of Manchester Legal Advice Centre. In these roles, she has conducted comprehensive legal research, drafted legal documents, and assisted in CAS arbitration cases, developing a deep understanding of both administrative law and sports law.

Her academic pursuits are equally impressive. Oana authored her master’s thesis on geopolitics in sports, focusing on the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

After being a professional tennis player, Oana has worked as a tennis coach, mentoring aspiring athletes and promoting a healthy and disciplined lifestyle. In addition, she has experience in sports management, handling representation agreements, and managing client relations.

Fluent in English, with intermediate proficiency in Spanish, Oana brings a global outlook and a disciplined, results-driven mindset shaped by her competitive sports background.
